Biltmore Forest

Lookbook Design

This project involved the creation of a lookbook for Biltmore Forest Country Club's golf course restoration, a historic and high-profile renovation project aimed at bringing the course back to its original, Donald Ross design. The club, founded in 1922 in Asheville, NC, seeks to restore its course under the guidance of renowned architect Gil Hanse, whose design philosophy aligns with Ross' original vision.

Designed to page through on the course, this book is an interactive aid that showcases the original vision for the Biltmore Forest golf course and the plans to restore it. Detailed inserts, luxurious print materials, and a color palette inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains invite each member into a memorable discovery process. Oversized pages open to highlight Gil Hanse’s strategic plan, grounded in Ross’s work and ethos, to revive a course tailored for both the amateur enthusiast and the seasoned professional.
